8 August 2025 – The Palestinian Forum in Britain calls on all Palestinians, Arabs, and British friends to join the mass national demonstration for Palestine.
The Palestinian Forum in Britain urges all Palestinians in the UK and their families, along with their friends from the Arab community and all free Britons, to take part in large numbers in the national demonstration for Palestine, which will set off on Saturday 10 August 2025 at 12 noon from Russell Square in central London to the UK Government headquarters in Downing Street, under the banner:
“Stop the genocide… Stop arming Israel… Justice for Palestine now”
This demonstration comes in the context of escalating Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the continuation of starvation policies, blockade, and genocide, alongside plans for the full occupation of the Strip and systematic ethnic cleansing.
The march is a message of public anger and rejection, and a stance of solidarity born of a living conscience, in which we demand the UK Government to:
- Move beyond issuing mere “statements of condemnation” and take concrete action to stop the massacres.
- End the export of F-16 parts and all other weapons used to target civilians.
- Immediately disclose the results of British aerial surveillance over Gaza, which may contain documented evidence of war crimes.
- Prosecute Israeli leaders and soldiers, and implement the rulings of the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court without delay.
- Receive wounded and injured Palestinians for treatment in public hospitals at the expense of the British Government, not the private sector.
- Allow family reunification for Palestinian families separated by war and displacement.
- End British investments with the occupation and companies complicit in war crimes.
This demonstration is organised by the Palestinian Forum in Britain in cooperation with its partners in the Palestine Solidarity Coalition, which includes:
The Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), Stop the War Coalition (STW), Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND), Friends of Al-Aqsa (FOA), and the Muslim Association of Britain (MAB).
Speakers at the demonstration will include:
- Zack Polanski – MP and candidate for the leadership of the Green Party
- Ahmed Elnaouq – Palestinian journalist and activist from Gaza
- Hamza Stittan – prominent Palestinian youth activist
- Fares Amer – spokesperson for the Palestinian Forum in Britain
Alongside speakers from trade unions and partner organisations.
Statement by Adnan Hmidan – Acting Chairman of the Palestinian Forum in Britain:
“What is happening in Gaza is not merely a conflict, but a systematic genocide before the eyes of the world. Britain’s responsibility goes beyond timid commentary; the UK Government is complicit in arming the occupation and must stop this support immediately, take practical steps to hold the criminals accountable, receive the wounded, and end investment in the occupation. This demonstration is a message of anger and a clear demand for long-overdue justice.”
We believe that public turnout is a genuine tool of pressure and a voice that cannot be ignored, and we are confident that our people and their friends will not hesitate to answer this call.
Palestine is calling you… do not delay.
